Description Welch Vacuum Pump Family BTpro Series New for Botanical Oils processor for post-extraction purification preparation for distillation. Welch’s BT pro vacuum pump family has the necessary flow and vacuum level to provide fast performance for your size of rotary evaporator, falling film evaporator, filtering setup, filtering tables, and purge ovens These chemical duty PTFE diaphragm pumps are oil-free. All 5 models are certified CSA or c-UL-us to help satisfy regulatory requirements. The pumping action and deep vacuum comes from the movement of PTFE diaphragms within PTFE heads. All wetted services in the flow path are made of fluoroplastic making each BT pro pump highly chemically resistant. As a result, the BT pro vacuum pump series is near-zero maintenance. A cold trap placed in-line with your BT pro pump is needed if terpenes are part of the flow path. The BT pro 40 and BT pro 70 models employ patented valve and diaphragm technology that generates a deep 15 Torr vacuum pressure with each PTFE head. In addition, both pump models have a built-in tune able vacuum to control the evaporation rate. The tunable vacuum adjustment can also be used to stop unintended boiling and bumping. A chemically resistant, manual vacuum regulator with stainless steel dial gauge is available for BT pro 100. See ordering information for further details.
